The Smith County Emergency Operations Center is the local response network for COVID-19 for the cities of Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Winona, Troup, Arp, New Chapel Hill, Noonday, and all communities within Smith County.  This group includes NET Health, EMS, Fire and Police Departments, local hospitals and community clinics, and a Joint Information Center that includes the Public Information Officers (PIO's) of these city and county organizations.

The public communication of factual information is a primary goal of the Joint Information Center, and this webpage serves as as a central location for any and all information related to COVID-19 preparedness and response activities in Smith County, and to provide downloadable factual content that you can readily share.
